| Bolivia, Cordillera Real May-June 2008 |
| The Cordillera Real in Bolivia is one of the finest places to climb anywhere in the world. Just a few kilometers from the town of La Paz, Bolivia´s capital city, it offers a complete experience to both the intermediate and advanced climber.
It is the ideal trip for mountaineers looking for the next level of skill, difficulty and compromise after having climbed either Mexico´s Volcanoes, or the main summits of Ecuador.

In the trip we offer you get to climb beautiful Pequeño Alpamayo (5,400meters) , famous Huayna Potosí (6080 meters) and Bolivia´s Highest Mountain, 6,580 meters high Sajama.
The qualifications required for this trip are: previous experience at altitude (at least, up to 16,000 ft), some experience on the use of ice axe and crampons, self arrest and glacier traveling and to be in good physical condition.

| Itinerary |
Day 1: Departure from home town.
Day 2: Arrival in La Paz. Meet you at the airport. Transfer to Hotel. Acclimatization day in La Paz
Day 3: Visit Tihuanaco ruins and lake Titicaca. Night at Hotel.
Day 4: Drive to Tuni Lake (1 hour 30 min)13,000 ft. Hire llamas to carry our gear. 3 hour hike to Pequeño Alpamayo base camp (Condoriri lake) at 14,400 ft. Night in tents. B,L,D
Day 5: Acclimatization hike to glacier of Condoriri. Skills review. Night in tents. B,L,D.
Day 6: Early morning start. Climb Tarija (17,500) and Pequeño Alpamayo (17,800). 8 to 10 hours up and down. Night in tents at basecamp. B,L,D
Day 7: Hike back to Tuni. Drive to La Paz. Night at Hotel. B
Day 8: Drive to Huayna Potosí base camp 15,000ft (1 hour). 4 hour climb to high camp (16,700 ft.) Night in tents. B,L,D
Day 9: Summit Huayna (20,000 ft.) and back to base camp. 10 to 12 hours total. Night in tents. B,L,D
Day 10: Drive back to La Paz. Rest day. Hotel. B
Day 11: Drive to the town of Sajama (5 hours), Night in hotel. B,L,D.
Day 12: 4 hour hike to Sajama base camp 15,200 ft. Night in Tents. B,L,D.
Day 13: Climb to high camp at aprox. 17,900. 4 to 6 hours. Night in tents. B,L,D
Day 14: Summit Sajama 21,550 ft. Back to base camp if possible or to high camp. B,L,D.
Day 15: Hike back to base camp and out to Sajama town. Drive back to La Paz. Night in Hotel. B,L.
Day 16: Extra day. Hotel
Day 17: End of trip, flight back home.

Includes:
- All ground transportation: airport pick up and drop as well.
- Scheduled hotel nights: 5 hotel nights in La Paz on a double basis occupancy in a 3 star Hotel and 2 hostel nights in Sajama.
- All meals shown in the itinerary (B,L,D) This includes all mountains meals as well as on the road restaurant meals.
- All common gear: dinning tent at base camp, kitchen tent, base camp tents and altitude tents, ropes, ice screws and snow pickets, cooking sets, fuel.
- Mules or llamas for transportation of common gear and personal equipment to base camp (25.kg per person for personal gear)
- First aid kit.
- Guiding service: with a max. ratio of 2 clients per guide.
